Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Hires MSc Biotechnology Students
Last week Dr. Reddy’s laboratories, the first Indian Biopharmacutical company to be listed in the New york Stock Exchange arrived at Amrita School of Biotechnology for placements in to their R&D and Production sections. 5 students from 3rd Semester M.Sc Biotechnology were hired into various departments.
The selection processes started late night on Thursday, 18th November after a presentation by one of Dr.Reddy’s HR team member. This was followed by a written examination and a personal interview of the 20 short-listed candidates.
The interview panel said they were completely amazed by the performance of students, both in written test and in interviews and the panel had a hard time deciding on who is to be selected.
Full credits to all of those people who worked day and night to make this happen at ASBT.

Questions were asked from the areas of cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and other related courses. There were logical questions too, as a separate section.
