Destiny and the rule of Give – and – Take
Dec 24th
CBR_47
Many events in our lives are destined, beginning from our birth and the family that we are born into. One is born into a family, where conditions are conducive to undergo ones destiny and where one has significant give-and-take account with each member of the family.
According to the law of karma, every positive deed generates a merit while every negative deed generates a demerit or a sin. Subsequently one has to reap the results of ones actions.Whenever one does a good deed to others, it is bound to give a positive return (in the form of some happiness), apart from a simple thank you from that person! Whenever one inflicts harm, it is bound to give negative return in the form of sorrow in some form. It cannot be undone by a simple Sorry! The law of karma is infailing. It is something like Newtons third law of motion, which states, For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Throughout our lives we are either settling an old account or creating a new one. If the account cannot be settled in this birth it is carried over to the next. We are not consciously aware of the give-and-take accounts generated in our previous births.
According to the science of Spirituality the definition of being liberated means not being compelled to take birth again because one’s destiny has been significantly reduced.Man is born repeatedly for two reasons. The first, that is, 65%, is to experience happiness and sorrow according to destiny and the second, that is 35%, to make spiritual progress so as to acquire Bliss. By and large, every one wants to live their life such that their next few lives will be very happy. But the aim of life is not to have happy future births, but rather to get out of the cycle of births and deaths.
The reason that we are born is that we have not yet learnt the lessons that we were meant to learn and so just as we have to repeat a class if we fail our exams likewise we have to be born over and over again. Being liberated from the drudgery of this unending cycle can happen in this very birth if we make an effort to grow spiritually and realise God. This is the supreme spiritual goal any man can have. Through spiritual practice, once a person reaches a spiritual level of80% one does not have to be reborn to make further progress.
Power of Mind
Dec 24th
CBR_33
Mind body soul is a philosophy which envelopes the infinite knowledge available in the universe .
Mind body and soul deals on every possible subject in universe ranging from new born human beings to the oldest ones including men and women positive thinking, mind body soul, entrepreneurs, yoga, meditation, computers, astrology, cosmos, aura reading, fashion, teens, women, men, dreams, goals, achievements, green tea, water resources, sun, zodiac signs, gemstones, ayurveda, nano technology, high blood pressure, current affairs, news, telekinesis, heart, photography, ego, brands, advertising, cinema, society, virtual world, internet, communications, public speaking, prayers, courage and confidence, free downloads, time, aids, people, logs, …
Mind body and soul also helps any one deal with six senses touch ,taste ,smell ,hear ,see and intuition .it also helps every human being to manage the six aids what, why, when, where, who and how judiciously . These are the important factors for any decision making in life.
Drawing on spiritual springs and shaped by the American vernacular, a new form of psychotherapy has grown with little attention from either the popular or professional media. Called “psychology of mind,” this new approach is now being applied to a wide range of problems from substance abuse to marital discord.Instead of treating emotional as primary, as somehow “deeper” than thought, psychology of mind regards negative emotions .
In the view of many practitioners, psychology of mind offers an answer to the question that is now troubling 12-step programs: “Is there a next step after being ‘in recovery’?” The new therapists say yes. The next step is to find a way back to our birthright, which is natural good feeling. Psychology of mind seeks to offer clients direct access to good feelings, thus dissolving the need for substitute gratifications such as alcohol or cocaine. To recover serenity, they say, we first of all need to understand how it was obscured from us…

Salvage Mangroves in Sungei Buloh – Amritians Singapore Chapter Team on a mission
Dec 27th
Our Humble Pranams to Our Holy Mother AMMA
We offer this unto Our holy mother AMMA!
Besides weekly satsangs and Swamijis’ discourses every now and then, AMMA has always told us to lead a life that is one with nature. To put that valuable advice into some action, a total of 17 of us from Amriteswari Society, Alumni (from various AMMA’s Instituitions in India who are currently working in Singapore) & Ayudh in Singapore gave up the comfort of our beds on a Saturday morning only to volunteer ourselves to Salvage Mangroves in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
It was time; we were geared up with hats, shovels, boots and gloves. Some had even planned in advance and got their own boots, trowels and even some snacks. All ready and eager to get down and salvage some Mangroves! Before we headed to the site, we had a short briefing accompanied by a group prayer to kick start our mission for the day.
Despite the briefing, We had no clue what to expect when we got there. All We knew was that we were going to save as many mangroves as we can. As we trekked towards the mangrove site, we identified and enjoyed the fauna and flora surrounding us.
When we reached the mangrove site (mud flat), for some reason we felt brief moments of anxiety. Many questions kept popping in my head on whether we would be able to maneuver from myself from one end to the other or will we just sink in.
We split amongst ourselves into small groups to focus in specific areas. The instructor requested us to remove those saplings which were grown atleast our knee height! Because they wanted the smaller ones to be removed by primary school children… Wow…it was surprising to hear this. When school children are encouraged to participate in such kind of activities, why not we adults!!! That was an added inspiration.
When we got down to the mud flat, the experience we earned waddling around in the soft muddy ground was special on its own. Falling down and helping each other up and getting stuck many times was all worth it end of the day where we had the chance to salvage a total of 62 mangrove saplings.
It was an amazing feeling to see all the mangrove saplings being grouped together before we placed them in the nursery. The method on how we all managed to transport the 62 saplings on our own without the aid of any fancy machineries was an experience on its own. We all stood side by side forming a ‘human-chain’. One by one we manually passed the sapling across to the other side.
At the end of it all 62 mangroves were given a chance to fulfill its purpose. While going back home, it was such a great feeling and a beautiful sense of satisfaction that we were able to do a little something for Mother Nature by salvaging mangrove saplings to open up the wetland areas for migratory birds to seek habitats. JAI MA!
